bryan ray for District Court judge

Early life

I was born and raised here in Alamance County and have lived here for the vast majority of my
life. I got married in 2017 to my beautiful wife Caroline and was blessed with our first daughter, Camryn in 2020. We had our second daughter, Carsyn in 2022. My wife also graduated from Elon Law, and along with our two daughters, we live in Elon. We attend Trailhead Church in Graham where we teach Sunday school.

Education

I graduated from Walter Williams High School in 2005. After high school I attended Coastal Carolina University and then graduated from UNC Greensboro in 2009. After undergrad I
attended law school in Greensboro at the Elon University School of Law where I graduated in
2013.

Career

During the Summers of 2011 and 2012, I interned at the Law office of Julian Doby. After passing the Bar in 2013, I began working with Julian Doby and have maintained primarily a District Court practice for the last ten years. I have extensive experience in every courtroom, from criminal and traffic court, to juvenile and DSS, and of course family law, which has been the focus of my practice over the last several years. I am also a former member of the Alamance County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. I served from 2018 until 2024 on the Alamance County Board of Elections, and I have been heavily involved with the Alamance County Teen Court Program as a Judge and as a team coach since 2015.
